To encourage individual customers to update their biometrics to ensure uninterrupted electronic transactions starting from January 1, 2025, in accordance with Circular No. 17/2024/TT-NHNN issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, Techcombank is launching a promotional program for customers updating their biometrics, with the following details:

 

1. Promotion Period

  • From November 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

     

2. Eligible Participants

Customers who meet the following conditions:

  •  Existing Techcombank customers who opened a VND payment account before May 1, 2024, and whose account is active at the time of the promotion.

  • Currently using electronic banking services on the Techcombank Mobile app, with an active Techcombank Rewards account on the app at the time of successful biometric data update and reward issuance.

  • Successfully perform their first biometric data update or supplementation on the Techcombank Mobile app through one of the following methods:

    • Update biometric data using a chip-based citizen ID card.

    • Update biometric data through electronic identity verification via the VNeID app.

 

3. Promotional Details

  • The first 6,000 customers each week who successfully update and supplement their biometric data on the Techcombank Mobile app will receive 50,000 Techcombank Rewards points.

  • The points will be credited to the “Point” under the “U-Point balance” section every Thursday of the following week.
