When you lose your card

When you lose your card, the first thing you should do is lock the card to ensure the safety of your account in the following ways: 

Option 1: Temporarily lock the card via Techcombank Mobile 

  • Step 1: Log in to Techcombank Mobile 
  • Step 2: Select Accounts and Cards on the homepage 
  • Step 3: Select the Card to lock 
  • Step 4:  Choose "Lock Card" (Locked cards will not be able to make online transactions, pay at any POS and withdraw money at ATMs)

Option 2: Call the Personal Customer Service hotline 1800 588 822 (toll free) and request a card lock

How to pay with QR codes through Techcombank Mobile

Techcombank's payment via QR codes is accepted at all VNPAY and mPOS payment units.

You need to use the Techcombank Mobile app to use the QR code payment feature

  • Step 1: Log in to Techcombank Mobile 
  • Step 2: Select Scan QR code 
  • Step 3: View information and enter the amount to pay 
  • Step 4: Verify and pay

24/7 money transfer and interbank money transfer

When using the 24/7 fast transfer service, you will experience simple money transfer operations, shortening the time in receiving and transferring money outside of Techcombank. Money transfer can be done at any time, regardless of the Bank's transaction time. Currently, transfer transactions on Techcombank Mobile are by default 24/7.

When transferring normally, you need to wait around 1 business day for the transaction to be completed successfully.

How to change transfer limit on Techcombank Mobile

The transfer limit, by default, is 500 million VND/day on Techcombank Mobile, applicable for 24/7 express transfer and interbank transfer. In case you want to transfer a larger amount but not exceeding 5 billion VND, you can log in to Techcombank Mobile to change the limit. 

The newly changed limit will take effect for 30 days, after which it will return to the default limit of 500 million VND/day.
