In accordance with the State Bank's regulations in Circular No. 48/2018/TT-NHNN on Savings Deposits (TT 48/2018/TT-NHNN) and Circular No. 49/2018/TT-NHNN on Time Deposits (TT 49/2018/TT-NHNN), Techcombank would like to announce as follows:
According to the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam, foreign nationals are not eligible to participate in savings deposit products. Therefore, foreign customers who previously joined savings deposit products such as “Phát Lộc Savings,” “Regular Savings,” “Trường Lộc Deposit,” or “Đắc Lộc Deposit” before July 5, 2019, but have not yet visited the bank to settle their savings accounts as previously notified, will have their deposits proactively settled by Techcombank on before December 31, 2025, to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
The principal and interest amounts will be transferred by the Bank to the payment account that you have opened at Techcombank. In case you do not have a valid account, Techcombank will temporarily hold the deposit and will make the payment when you visit the Bank to complete the relevant procedures. This deposit (including principal and interest) will not accrue interest from the date of settlement.
