Ho Chi Minh City, September 27, 2013, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) officially opens its new head office in the South at No. 9-11 Ton Duc Thang Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The opening marks a new milestone on its 20-year development pathwhile asserting the Bank’s franchise and continuous development in the southern market. Attending at the opening ceremony were Ms. Le Thi Thanh Hang - Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Mr. Ho Hung Anh - Techcombank’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Do Tuan Anh - member of Techcombank’s Board of Directors cum Acting CEO, and Mr. Sumit Dutta - General Director of HSBC Vietnam. The event was also attended by the Bank’s shareholders, partners, loyal customers, the media, and all staff of the Bank in the Southern Region. Techcombank's new head office is located at the intersection of the city’s two main roads of Ton Duc Thang Street and Le Thanh Ton Street with the floor area totalling over 34,000 m2. The new head office consists of a ground floor and a mezzanine with around 1,700 m2 dedicated to serving customers, and 28 storeys being the workplace for over 1,000 employees of Techcombank in the South. The building is also the new home of Techcombank's Representative Office in the South, Techcombank’s Saigon Branch, and a number of supporting departments in the South. This new head office features modern and practical layout that helps create the best working environment for all bank employees to make more effective coordination in their work. At the same time, the building also provides a modern, aesthetic, and highly interactive transaction environment, which helps offer the best and highest possible services for customers. This thereby clearly demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to “Customer first”. The building also sets the stage for Techcombank’s sustainable development in the future. The opening of Techcombank’s head office in the South marks a new step in its 20- year development path, exemplifying its strong commitment to build the brand in the southern market. Along with the opening of Techcombank Head office at 191 Ba Trieu Street, Hanoi, August 2012, the inauguration of Techcombank’s Head office in the South once again asserts its standing and commitment to continuous investing for further development and constantly enhancement of the customer service quality. This can be seen as a strategic move in realizing its goal of becoming the best bank in Vietnam. |
