On November 27, 2014, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) officially launched the 2015 Internship Program, with the aim to bring about  real working experience, as well as a real feeling on working environment and culture of Techcombank to 500 excellent final-year students nationwide who specialize in economics, business administration, commerce, banking, finance ....

Techcombank’s Internship Program is an annual activity to attract and early spot talented students to set foundation of building high quality human resource for the bank.  This is one of many programs that showcase the bank’s continuous investment in developing the human resources, building a professional and modern working environment towards the sustainable development of Techcombank. The program has gained quite positive results since implemented. In 2014 only, Techcombank received more than 4,000 applications, recruited nearly 350 interns, and over 70% of them had become the bank’s permanent employees when graduated.

Continue this success, this year, Techcombank expands the program and expects to recruit 500 interns for positions such as tellers, relationship managers and retail banking officers. The selected ones will be trained and instructed by professional bankers for 2-3 weeks, then practise in divisions or branches for 3-4 months. Especially, students will also receive financial support from the bank during practice. After the internship, interns with excellent results will have opportunities to be recruited officially, as well as have better chance to win the Next Generation Leader Program.

This Internship Program that has been heavily invested and implemented professionally has helped address the increasing demand for internship amongst final year students, and received positive comments from attendants.

I have also made tremendous efforts to become an official employee of Techcombank after graduating. More than that, I am currently a member of its Next Generation Leader Program and under intensive training, coaching period. I have to say that this program is very useful for final year students and hope it will be implemented yearly to bring more opportunities for young students”
  
The 2015 Internship Program will stop receiving applications in 15 December, 2014, and is expected to announce the winning list from entrance test and 2 interview sessions by 25 January 2015. The selected ones will attend training courses from 26/1 – 7/2/2015, and practice in divisions from 3/2015 – 5/2015.
