Internet banking transactions are convenient and safe to users. To ensure the safest transactions, customers should follow the principle of PIN code security.
A strong PIN code should:
- have at least 6 characters in length, including letters and numbers,
- have the characters changed at least every 6 months, and
- not have the same characters with the 3 most recent PIN codes.
From December 6th 2013, in order to help individual and corporate customers to use internet banking service, Techcombank system will provide automatic alert to customers whose PIN codes do not meet the length, complexity and/or history requirements.
