Techcombank was awarded “Leading Partner Bank in Vietnam” by ADB for the 3rd year continuously

[Hanoi, September 8th, 2022] – Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) has just been awarded the “Leading Partner Bank in Vietnam 2022” by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) (Leading Partner Bank) within the framework of the Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP) which has just been held in Singapore. This is the continuous third year that Techcombank has been honored in this field based on the highest number of transactions made in the period from the third quarter of 2021 to the end of the second quarter of 2022.

The award "Leading Partner Bank in Vietnam 2022" awarded by ADB to Techcombank has continued to affirm the outstanding efforts and achievements that this bank has achieved in maintaining and strengthening its financial capacity, expanding trade finance activities in the region as well as in the world.

Formerly known as the Trade Finance Program (TFP), until now ADB's Trade Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP) has cooperated with more than 240 partner banks in the region and around the world to implement the project. guarantees and trade finance loans. Techcombank is proud of being one of the first Vietnamese partners selected by ADB to sign two important agreements since 2004: "Revolving Credit Loan Agreement" and "Participation Contract as a Bank for Investment and Development Issuer”. In addition, by the end of 2021, Techcombank will continue to sign the "Participation Agreement as a Donor Bank" to strengthen cooperation with ADB within the framework of this program.

With ADB's hard support through the TSCFP program, Techcombank has been and will continue to accompany in arranging trade finance transactions for businesses, especially small and medium enterprises. The number of guarantee and loan transactions performed by Techcombank has continuously increased over the years, showing that the bank's capacity is constantly improving, worthy of its leading position as a strategic partner of ADB for 3 continuous years of recognition for this representative from Vietnam.
