Hanoi, January 19th 2016, Today, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint- stock Bank (Techcombank) officially announces Mr. Murat Yuldashev has resigned from the position of CEO of Techcombank due to personal reasons and is expected to leave Techcombank from 01/03/2016.  To ensure smooth running of banking operations,  Techcombank plans to appoint Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Anh, current Head of Strategy & Corporate Development Division, to be Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of managing the bank operation until the succession plan is announced.



During his 3 years with Techcombank, with 1 year as CEO, Mr. Murat Yuldashev has made great contributions to the bank’s success both in financial performance and people development. In 2015, the accumulated profit before tax stood at VND 2,037 billion, exceeding the target of VND 2,000 billion. Simultaneously, the bank controlled cost effectively and improved its efficiency with the cost to income ratio at 39,7% by end of 2015. In addition, his leading role has played a big part in achieving the target of people development and working environment enhancement of Techcombank.

Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Anh, graduated Ph.D. Nuclear Technology at Purdue University in Indiana and an MA in Economics and Mathematics Econometrics at the University of California (USA), is expert in Strategic Planning, Cross-Functional Leadership, Project Management, Business Analytics & Modeling, Sales & Marketing Strategies, IT System Architecture. He has held senior positions in large organizations in the US such as T- Mobile US , Wells Fargo Bank , Nissan USA , Fortress Investment
